First is the initial garden consultation. In this stage, we will visit your home to assess your conditions and discuss the design process. We will tailor the design depending on how you intend to use the space. At this stage, we will study topography and identify the microclimates in your area to help us to determine what plants will work best and the amount of maintenance that will be required to see them flourish.
After our first meeting at your home, we proceed to the garden design concept stage. The landscape design is presented by our architect and details the overall layout, planting options, construction ideas and material selections. Our designer will present the layout to you in person and take all of your feedback into consideration when re-designing and making changes. Once the final concept is approved, we proceed to the final stage.
This phase is to prepare final documentation detailing the landscape construction. In the documentation, we include the following: drainage plan, lighting plan, irrigation plan, material specifications, and planting schedules. Deciding on which materials to use for each segment of your new garden can be a daunting task. There are a huge number of factors to take into consideration from longevity through to functionality and affordability.
